Voice of the Stakeholder (VoS)
Voice of the Stakeholder (VoS), based on Converge VoCAl, is tailored to meet the needs of stakeholders rather than direct customers, making it ideal for complex project management and communications/public relations applications. VoS takes you beyond what stakeholders want, to what really matters, what stakeholders value.
Stakeholder analysis helps organizations and projects achieve strategic objectives by ensuring what stakeholders value is properly understood. This requires:
- Identifying stakeholders, those interested external or internal parties having some direct or indirect influence to the organisation or project,
- Analyzing stakeholders, identifying what matters to different stakeholder segments and,
- Embedding the stakeholder voice into the stakeholder management process in use so that their voice is not lost.
Stakeholders, like citizens and occasionally customers, may have competing or conflicting requirements. These require specialized treatment, properly weighing competing and conflicting requirements by understanding the nature of value underlying different requirements (See Kano Model).
